I’ve specialized in every major extension method since 2010, including beaded, tape-in, weft, braided, and keratin systems. After years of hands-on experience, K-Tip extensions proved to be the clear standout—the most seamless, customizable, and hair-healthy option available.
Trained and certified in three advanced K-Tip application techniques, I’ve refined a method that prioritizes both beauty and integrity. When applied correctly, K-Tips blend invisibly, move naturally, and protect the health of your hair—without compromise. My goal is for every woman to experience just how luxurious, undetectable, and transformative extensions can truly be.

Every extension transformation is fully bespoke. Pricing varies based on your natural hair (length, thickness, texture, and color), your desired result, the hair type selected (single-donor vs. factory hair), bonding method (hand-bonded vs. factory bonds), brand choice, and the level of customization required.
Because no two heads of hair—or goals—are the same, all pricing is determined during your in-depth consultation. Most full transformations fall within the $2,000–$3,000+ range.

They don’t call me a hairapist for nothing. With 25 years as a professional makeup artist and 16 years as a professional hairstylist, clients tend to feel right at home in my chair.
Appointments typically last 3–6 hours, depending on the details of your custom installation. You’re welcome to bring a laptop, watch a movie, or pop in earbuds for a podcast—though fair warning, I do tend to talk. With that much time together, we usually cover a surprising amount of life.
Tea and light snacks are available, and good conversation comes complimentary.

Short answer: No.
When properly installed, K-Tips are extremely discreet and should not be visible to others. Each bond is custom placed and color-matched to your natural hair, allowing the extensions to blend seamlessly and move naturally. You may notice the bonds yourself at first, especially during the first 72 hours, but they are designed to remain hidden, even when styling or wearing your hair up. Proper placement, cutting, and home care all play a role in keeping K-Tips virtually undetectable.
-
You can expect 100–200 tiny, bead-like keratin bonds placed slightly away from the scalp. There is a brief adjustment period, and while the bonds are discreet, you may feel them if you run your fingers through your hair.
Proper brushing is essential. Using the correct extension-safe brush helps prevent snagging and protects your natural hair.
K-Tip installations are not painful. You may experience mild tenderness the first night due to the added weight and tension of newly installed hair, but this typically resolves quickly. When properly installed and maintained, K-Tips cause little to no breakage.
For detailed home-care instructions, including how to brush K-Tips and the exact brush I recommend, please see “What is the home care like?”.

Here is my home care guide.

K-Tip extensions typically last 3–5 months. For all first-time clients, an in-person check-in at 3 months is required to assess both the health of your natural hair and the integrity of the installation. In many cases, removal at the 3-month mark is recommended to preserve the strength and health of your hair.
If everything looks healthy, you may continue wearing your extensions, with an additional mandatory in-person check-in at 4 months. Removal at 5 months is non-negotiable. For the health of your hair, and to maintain the quality of my work. I do not allow extensions to be worn beyond this point.
While we love beautiful extensions, protecting your natural hair always comes first. Every client’s hair has a different tolerance for K-Tips, and these check-ins allow us to determine the ideal wear time for YOU and proceed in the healthiest way possible.
-
All K-Tip removals must be performed by me. If extensions are removed elsewhere or at home, I will not be able to offer future installations. Improper removal can cause significant damage to your natural hair, especially when performed by someone who did not install the extensions. This policy is in place to protect your hair and the integrity of my work.
Removals typically take 45–60 minutes and are already included in the original quote provided during your consultation. There is no additional fee for removal at the conclusion of your current install.
-
Removing ktips takes approx. 2 hours and costs $300 if you are not an existing customer already. If I did not do your install, this is your charge.
If I did your install, your removal fee is in the cost of your extensions. See “What is the removal process like?” -
If your extensions have been well cared for and remain in excellent condition, they may be eligible for re-capsulation for a second installation. Re-capsulation involves rebonding your existing K-Tip extensions so they can be worn again.
Re-capsulation starts at $300, with an additional $150 per hour after the first two hours. Most re-capsulations take 2-4 hours.
To qualify for the base price and ensure an efficient process, please arrive to your removal appointment with your hair freshly washed using a clarifying shampoo only—no conditioner, oils, or styling products. Hair must be completely clean, dry, straightened, smooth, and tangle-free. When these conditions are met, re-capsulation is typically completed at the $300 rate.
If extensions show excessive wear, split ends, breakage, or overall degradation due to at-home care, they may not be suitable for reuse. In those cases, new hair will be required for future installations. You own your hair and are welcome to keep it or use it as you wish; however, I am only able to re-install hair that meets my quality standards in order to protect the health of your natural hair and the integrity of my work.

Punctuality is essential. When booking your installation and ordering your hair, a 25% service deposit is required and is non-refundable.
I understand that life happens, which is why a 10-minute grace period is extended. Arrivals 15 minutes or more late will result in the deposit being forfeited and not applied to future services.
If you know you are running late on the day of your appointment, please call immediately—before you are actually late—so I can determine whether we are still able to proceed that day. In some cases, rescheduling may be possible only if communication occurs prior to the scheduled start time. No-call, no-show, or 15+ minute late arrivals will not be rescheduled.
Thank you for respecting our scheduled time so I can provide the level of care and attention your service deserves.
